To find information in a very specific way, go to the Find A Trail link and scroll down to the "Compound Search to enter the state, trail surface, etc. in which you are interested.
But no maps.
No problem.
At the top of each information page is the name of the trail in blue. Highlight this name and copy it into your Google search box. I the trail is good enough to be paved, it will usually have a web site including a decent map.
These trails are laid along the abandoned right-of-way created by old railroads.
Because railroad engines have steel wheels running on steel tracks, their initial traction is pretty low. So bike trailes laid along this right-of-way hav a maximum incline of about fuve degrees. Read that "easy riding"
