Focus on the tire.

I know this is not all that nifty of a picture, and staring at a picture of a tire is not what you had in mind for scintillating entertainment.

But be kind and bear with me on this, as it is really important.

The more of something you've got, the harder it is to push. And if that "something" is a relatively soft, big, fat, knobby-tread, low pressure tire, it has a lot of reasons not to want to roll.

So we use relatively thin, hard, smooth, skinny, small cross-section tires, and they roll pretty easily. They're not pencil-thin like the racing road bikes one sees, but they're pretty darned good at making your life a whole lot easier.

I really don't know why I don't like that picture, but I don't.

Live with it.

AND

I'll bet you a dime I spelled "scintillating" correctly.

You owe me a dime.

I just checked.
