WHY A RECUMBENT TRIKE? THAT'S AN EASY ONE TOO.

The recumbent trike is just easy and natural to learn. If you get a little pooped going up a hill, just stop. You've got your own easy chair right there. Want to move along? You've got a 21-speed Shimano gear train ready to make that a pleasure too.

With two wheels in front, BOOMERtrikesTM are not prone to tipping over. Follow the guidelines in the Owner's manual, and you're set for years of safe, healthy exercise and touring.

BOOMERtrikesTM are unique in their class with proper pinion angle, caster (trail) and camber all designed by people who understand and manufacture to automotive racing standards. Without these features, which together lump under the term "Center Point Steering", making anything but the most subtle turn invites a wheel to lift off the ground. That is just simply excitement of the wrong kind.

And - frankly -BOOMERtrikeTM riders get a little "spoiled" too. With Shimano Disc brakes up front, cantilever braking on the rear, stopping is assured. Shifting duties are carried out by Sram components - again at the top of their class. Chain? Sram. Deraileurs? Shimano. And on and on - the best appropriate equipment. Period.

On a BOOMERtrikeTM you are just as visible as a wedgie bike rider - perhaps more visible. We can prove that. Check it out. On a road bike, the rider bends in half to get to the handlebars. This puts that rider's head about even with that of a BOOMERtrikeTM rider.

So there goes the old myth about the invisible recumbent.

Here is what we DO NOT make - - -

The vast majority of recumbent bikes and trikes are built low-slung for racing. That means a very low seat. Furthermore, one-wheel-in-front trikes are a bit "dicey" in cornering.

Both look kind of goofy and are difficult to learn to ride. Both are very difficult for motor vehicle operators to see.

Imagine yourself lying on your back with ball bearings between you and the floor. Now stand up. That is the racing recumbent experience. It's worth it if you want to go fast, but not if all you want is some touring and exercise.

With a BOOMERtrikeTM, you just sit and stand normally - no strain on the body whatever.
